Given that I was adapting a book that already existed for my dead friend and collaborator who had asked me to adapt it faithfully as a last request, I don’t feel bad about doing what he asked at all. And with the overall Good Omens story I don’t feel like I’m in any competition with any other shows. Perhaps you will find what you were missing in Good Omens Season 2. Perhaps not. Wait and see.
As an 80s baby who once read every single book in my local library that showed up when I searched “gay” because I was so starved for representation, let me again go on my rant that Neil Gaiman was showing up with queer characters before some of y'all were literally born and it’s okay that Aziraphale and Crowley are left to interpretation. Thank you for Foxglove and Hazel, Neil, and Wanda, and Sam Black Crow, they meant the world to me when there was so, so little of myself to see.
